Rotary Make-Ups
Make-up credit for Club and community-related activities, and nearby meeting schedules, E-Club:
Credit may be earned for community-related activities upon approval by the Club Board of Directors. Members must submit the Opportunity for a Makeup Form to the Board for consideration of the activity for Make-up credit.
Makeup credit can also be earned by participating in Club events―including, but not limited to, the Roadside Pickup or ringing bells for the Salvation Army―or by attending Club Board and Committee meetings. The person chairing the meeting or that is leading the activity has the responsibility to submit the names of participants to the Club on the Rotary Activity Makeup Form.
Make-up Guidelines:
If you want Make-up credit:
You must submit a
form or program from the meeting of the Rotary Club you attended with
your name, the date of the meeting and the signature of an official of
that club.
Your
name must be submitted on a Bluefield Rotary Approved Activity Form with
the description of the activity, the date of the activity and the
signature of the Rotarian supervising the activity. This form is
available on the Web site, and is the responsibility of the person
heading up the activity.
For
an activity not previously approved, you must submit a Request for a
Make-up Form to the Board of Directors, and the form must contain all
relevant information about the activity, including your name,
description of the activity, date, location, as well as some
verification of your participation.
If you are requesting meal credit, this must also be noted.
If you have questions about any of this, or if you are unsure what information you actually need to provide, please ask, or remember that more is better.
Thank you for you cooperation.
